TSL082- LITERATURE
Literature is the most challenging yet intriguing subject. Not going to lie, during high school, I used to love Literature. But now, it is one of the toughest subject to learn T-T I never expected Animal Farm to have anything to do with the Russian Revolution. I personally think it was complicated to understand and relate both of them because I was not so good in Sejarah too especially the Form 5 topics where most of it were about politics, revolution, nation building and so on. However, after the presentation that we had in class and some explanations from classmates in our group chat, I think I understand it better now. Regardless, I still have to deepen my understanding on it for this upcoming finals.

Learning the short stories, on another note, were more interesting. We had many discussions during class and Madam Ain really pushed us to think in a complex way. Everytime she asks us questions about the stories, we answered, and she’ll still keep questioning, which trained us to be a hard thinker. Next, I loved writing poems since many years back and I still do now. But the thing is, I didn't really had a proper structure for my poems. I only let my pen follow the flow. When we delved into the Introduction to Poetry, it was so technical that I had to digest and know every detail of a poem. The structure, language, imagery, sound and the types of each elements. Sure, it is perplexing, but I'm confident that it will help me to write better poems after this. Below are one of my notes on the short stories and an original poem that I wrote when Madam Ain assigned us to come up with one.

For Literary Exhibition, I am kind of disappointed that we didn’t get to do a real exhibition like the previous batch had done. We had to use online platforms and my group chose to create a website. I’m sure it would’ve been more exciting if it was a real exhibition. However, I still get the purpose of the assignment which is to learn how to analyze and understand a poem.
