TSL051- COLLEGE SOCIAL SKILLS

College social skills. It is how it says. I honestly learned a lot from CSS and the knowledge that I gained were very useful through out my semester 1 in college and I'll surely apply the same in semester 2, even in my upcoming college journey after Foundation. Apart from that, I don’t know why but I find the most important thing I learned from CSS is Citations. Hahaha. We really do cite a lot in most of our assignments. Without that knowledge, it would be hard to avoid plagiarism. The fact that plagiarism destroys my credibility as a student is the main reason why I need to avoid plagiarising.

On top of that, Miss Shanaa who teaches me CSS which is also a.k.a my class mentor is very lovely, both in her personality and looks. She always sounds so cheerful and wants to see everyone’s faces. “GUYSS OPEN YOUR CAMERASSS” hahahaha so cute! She has always been caring for my classmates <3 Besides being a lecturer, she is also a ladyboss for her own brand which is Headkerchief.co. Multitasking at her best. That is how I wish to be one day. Hehehe.  I truly hope that she will still be our mentor in the next semester because we hope to see her more often >:(

The weekly Social Media Diary was a struggle for me as I was so not used to talking in front of the camera.  I usually took an average of 4 hours to record one social media diary’s video. Yes, it’s that tough. But as time passes by, I got used to it and I think now, my confidence level to talk in front of a camera has increased. The tasks were all life-related and I also hope that I benefited those who have seen it. I always submit my videos late (hehehe) usually on Saturday evenings or at night before it reached 11:59pm hahahahah. Anyway, I love the relieved feeling after submitting the tasks every week because it felt like a good closure for every week.

A compilation of some of my intros from my Social Media Diary videos. I managed to get 25/30 which I think is not bad at all

The Event Management assignment gave me many useful knowledge on how to organize an event. I was in the same group with Dieya and Adelia. Glad that we had Adelia because we all know that she is the brain of the class, right? We divide our tasks well and I'm pleased that our group got the second highest mark in class which is 24/30.
