TSL 034- LISTENING & SPEAKING
I am SO THANKFUL FOR LISTENING AND SPEAKING because it had face to face class. It was the only subject that had face to face class and I had so much fun because I also get to see more of my classmates, even though we were separated into two sessions. I enjoyed learning the phonemic chart and making the sounds together in class. I’m still a tad bit confused of which sound to use in certain words' syllables but it is still useful for my transcription. Also the exciting part about translating transcription into actual word is that I feel like I’m a decipherer trying to uncode something HAHAHAHA.

One of the tasks for LnS was the Oral Assessment. During the mock test, we were divided into groups and were given some time to prepare. It was very practical for our actual speaking test and MUET speaking test as well. Miss Hanan gave brief comments to everyone and I can recall vividly what she commented to me. She said that I should learn to generalize my points more. So when it was near the actual speaking test, studied the topics in the MUET textbook and tried to come out with my points, practising to come out with a better keypoint. I also had a Google Meet discussion and practice with my group mates which was Adib and Cena. Supposedly there should’ve been El too but she was still in Sarawak at that time so she had to take the speaking test online. We set the time limit accordingly to the allocated time just to get used to it. I find that practising before speaking is very important as it trains you with the pace that you will be using while speaking and the skills in organizing points. To be honest, I actually like speaking but sometimes I get too nervous and anxious.
During our group discussion XD
Experiencing face to face class with Miss Hannan was satisfying. I personally think that Miss Hannan is an easy going type of person that we felt comfortable to communicate in the class. I really miss going to physical class <///3
