TSL041- GRAMMAR
The one subject that sounds simple, but still technical. Well, because initially, I have known the basic grammar already. Just that there might be some confusion here and there and the justification part to me is the killer. I think it’s just me who hasn’t studied enough to fully master the justification part. It has been my goal to fully understand the basic grammar rules so that I can explain to people when they ask. Hence, before my final exam I will try my best to digest every single thing from the lesson slides. If I still feel unsatisfied, I will continue improving to understand them during the semester break.
During class, I like how Madam Hidayah always calls our names to read the answers. I have to admit that sometimes it’s scary, you know. Lecturers randomly calling your names. But for grammar, usually she makes us read the whole paragraph and the stories are interesting. That is why I like it hahaha. Also.. I have to admit that sometimes I’m just stunned with Madam Hidayah’s beauty I get distracted. Hahaha.
Discourse Analysis has been nothing but great to me. The article that I chose was something related to psychology simply because I want to be a psychologist. Throughout the reading, and analysing, I simultaneously gained some new knowledge. It took me only 2 days to complete this assignment. I still remember the satisfaction I felt when Madam Hidayah checked my analysis one by one and she kept saying “Good.” “Okay good, next.” I only had a few mistakes and I corrected it right after my consultation session, texted Madam Hidayah and she approved all of it. At that time, I realized how great it feels like to not procrastinate. Hahaha. Nonetheless, I’m really hoping that I will get a good mark for my Discourse Analysis. It had taught me to classify nouns, determiners, and pronouns better.

For practice, I usually do the past year questions that Madam Hidayah gave on Schoology and Google Classroom. Sometimes they are classified according to the topics such as Nouns and Basic Tenses. Our Grammar class is twice per week, Wednesday in the evening and Thursday in the morning. Madam Hidayah usually teaches on Wednesday and gave us exercises to complete on Thursday.
